Computing

I started my computer programming career working at JPS Électronique. Most of the time, I programmed web apps that they use internally. If you want more details about my computing projects, you can consult the "My projects" section on the navigation bar or by clicking here.

About me

I am specialized in web apps. For large web apps I especially like Angular, but I'm doing very well with standard technology (javascript, jquery...) for smaller apps. For apps that interact with an API (to use a database for example), I use NestJS framework. I also know PHP well. For native programs, the first language that I learned is Java and it's a language that I like to use even if I do not find it perfect.

Jafiot

I created my own company, Jafiot. I worked there full time for 3 years. At our peak we reached a total of 5 full-time employees. For various reasons, I left the company, but it gave me a great experience of entrepreneurship and leadership.

ACCEO Transport

Since October 2023, I'm working full time as a programmer at ACCEO Transport. We offer a complete set of management solutions for the trucking industry in Canada. Personally, I mainly work on web apps, REST APIs, Android apps and native software for Windows.

I had a course to know computer pieces and the criteria to know which pieces we should buy depends on the situation and how to assemble the computer. I did it for my personal computer: I shopped the pieces, then I assemble It and it works well . Despite this, I do not consider myself a specialist in hardware. I think I'm better in programming!

Zelda

I'm a big fan of the video game series "The legend of Zelda". I played to all games of the main series. I also played to all Zelda game that were republished with better graphics (versions DX, 3D and HD) and to "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest" (included in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D"). I played to the tree versions of "Hyrule Warriors" as well as "Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity"

History

I'm very interested in the history that were created for Zelda games. I find that they have a lot of interesting subtleties. It gives a wealth of this story that is divided into many sub-stories (through the different games). I read all mangas of Zelda games and the books "Hyrule historia", "Art & Artifacts" and "Encyclopedia".

Music

In my opinion, Zelda's music is quite exceptional for video games. I like it so much that I listen to it when I'm with my computer and I need concentration like when I program. This music has the advantage to don't have understandable lyrics (I won't say that it's instrumental because they are back vocals sometime). There are also many versions of Zelda's musics that are more or less official on the internet and it allows us to rediscover songs that we know already.

My aquaterrarium

My aquaterrarium where we can see baby fish

I'm passionate by fishkeeping. I have aquariums since june 2012. I already had a betta during one year, but when it died, I didn't buy another fish immediately. Since march 2013, I always had at least two aquariums. During about three months, I even had four aquariums at the same time at my house!

Reproduction

I had the pleasure to have baby fish and red cherry shrimp babies. I had a baby platy, guppy and molly. In the case of these three species, the baby reache a size adequate to be sold in a pet shop. Sadly, the shrimp babies were eaten by the fishes.

Aquaterrarium

Since a bit more than three years, I have an aquaterrarium in my ancient 10 gallon aquarium. My guppy babies are in this aquarium and with red and green plants, it's a beautiful color mix!

Music

I love the music, but my entourage blames me (with reason) to not be enough open. I love the rock and the metal. My favourite groups and artists are Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and Avenged Sevenfold. I like classical music too, almost when I need concentration. Also, I play drums.
